FAQ's
What is a DSE assessment? A DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessment is a structured check of someone’s workstation setup (chair, desk, screen, keyboard/mouse and posture) to reduce the risk of aches, pains and longer-term musculoskeletal issues. You’ll get practical adjustments and clear recommendations.
Do you assess home workers too? Yes. We can assess home workers either on-site (where practical) or via a guided remote/video assessment, depending on location and what’s needed.
How long does it take per person? Typically 20–45 minutes per person, depending on the complexity of the setup and whether adjustments can be made on the spot.
Do we have to buy new equipment? Not necessarily. Most issues can be improved with simple adjustments and better setup. If any equipment is recommended, we’ll explain why, offer options, and prioritise low-cost fixes first.
What areas do you cover? We cover on-site assessments within our service area and can support wider locations via remote assessments. Tell us your postcode and number of workstations and we’ll confirm availability and travel.
What do we receive after the visit? You’ll receive a clear written summary for each workstation (or a consolidated report), including key findings, adjustments made, priority actions, and any equipment recommendations, plus an option for follow-up/re-checks for new starters or changed setups.
